Computer Software Tutorials—This is a great site to save as a favorite. At this one site, you will find tutorials for a host of programs including all of the Microsoft Office programs.

Proposed Budget for FY2007—During our faculty meeting on Tuesday, we will vote on the budget for next year. The areas around which the Budget Committee will structure the proposed budget are as follows:

• Common purchases--$200 per teacher unit (up from $100 last year). You will kick in no money towards the copier.
• Professional Development--$90 per teacher unit (same as last year)
• Library Enhancement--$200 per teacher unit (same as last year)
• Technology-$350 per teacher unit (up from $181 last year)

Interactive Educator—This is a pretty good magazine related to educational technology, and you can subscribe for free by going here.

If you have not read “Three Letters from Teddy,” or read it lately, I invite you to experience this heart-warming story.

Clean out cooler—If you have items in the Teacher’s Lounge cooler, please jot yourself a note to take them home before the last day of school. No Tupperware, salad dressings, etc. should be left.

Class placement for next year—Before the last day of school, please divide the students in your grade into classes for next year, just as we have done in the past. Each class needs to be as evenly balanced as possible in terms of ability, gender, and race. List separately the names of our employees’ children and LD students.

Supply list for next year—You may turn those in to me as soon as you have completed if you have not already.
